You can tell that Nico walked through fire in the way that he was initiated and works with these plants. I am so inspired by his journey and how he respects the entire process of working with plant medicine. I truly felt his care before, during, and feel it after the experience. He understands how serious of a vocation it is to connect others to plant medicine and lives out that vocation through providing one on ones during the retreat, and integration support before and after we have gotten back from the retreat. He was so available for informal chats and frequently checked in on me to make sure that I was doing OK. There were even times that he checked in on me to make sure I felt heard in certain conversations. Extremely thoughtful and aware! I have never experienced someone going so above and beyond in making me feel supported, carried, and safe throughout a journey. Facilitators can make or break someone's experience based on what they are going through in their lives and how they are handling it... I could feel all the peace and love in his approach tenfold.

Nico is an amazing space holder and facilitator and it is an honor to be held in his container - it’s a safe place to go deeeep, and he’s amazing at guiding you there in a safe and steady way that feels comfortable for the nervous system... He’s made sure I feel supported and sure every step of the way, reminding me we don’t have to go any faster than what my system is ready for. And his ability to see, hear, validate and celebrate is out of this world.

I am thankful to have had the experience of meeting Nico and experiencing his deep medicine. It is not often that you meet someone that is fully anchored in the embodiment of presence and purpose. I appreciated his subtle nature of his intentional planning, space holding and voice. His ability to listen for the unspoken, see the unseen, and gently guide my heart towards its innate knowing is a gift that I hope others get to experience in their lifetime.

It is almost impossible to convey, in words, how much Nico means to me as a human being and brother. How much beauty and truth his existence throws at me, everyday. How much more I admire and love him after being led to this land, to the Shipibo-Conibo Nation and to one of the Houses of God, on this earth. To witness Nico blossom in this new and vital role was nothing short of astonishing, inspiring and exquisitely miraculous.
