THE DEPTH OF JOY WE ARE ABLE TO FEEL
DIRECTLY CORRELATES TO THE AMOUNT OF GRIEF WE ARE ABLE TO DIGEST
We often frame insight as something to be captured, and thus we seek insights like we seek empty pleasure. This mental, conceptual understanding of an insight is incredibly partial. [But it's just the opposite:] When the insight is experienced beyond the abilities of the conceptual mind, this is embodiment practice, putting the insight into practice. Over time, this practice will lead to embodiment, and with embodiment, the insight will no longer be an insight, it will no longer seem so magical [or foreign, or even insightful] [or like something needing to be obtained]. It will just be what is, how it is, how you are.
